Congressional Candidates, Face to Face

Randy Altschuler finished by stating he could document the 125 votes Mr. Bishop had made to raise taxes and said he stood for change in Washington, to help business, and keep money here rather than “pay for programs we can’t afford.”

“If you want to continue the policies of the Obama and Pelosi administration — if you want Obamacare, cap and trade, car check and further bailouts then you should vote for Tim Bishop.” The loud applause and cheers of many in the room indicated that they planned to do that.

Randy Altschuler gets Boost Over Bishop >

Tim Bishop has increasingly come under fire from his constituents for his positions on cap-and-trade and being a rubber stamp for Nancy Pelosi. This is in direct opposition to Randy Altschuler’s pledge to protect taxpayers.

JOHN LeBOUTILLIER ENDORSES ALTSCHULER

Former Rep. Believes Altschuler Has What It Takes To Be a Great Congressman

Randy Altschuler, the conservative Republican candidate for Congress (NY-1), was endorsed today by former Long Island Congressman, Republican activist and political columnist John LeBoutillier. LeBoutillier was elected to Congress running on the Republican, Conservative and Right-to-Life Party lines. John LeBoutillier said, “I am endorsing Randy Altschuler today because he understands the policies of Tim Bishop, Nancy Pelosi and President Obama are bankrupting our nation. Tim Bishop is a rubber stamp for the far left; voting with Nancy Pelosi 97% of the time. Tim Bishop exemplifies the big spending, high taxing, deficit growing mentality of the career politician; his votes in Congress are bad for Suffolk County and for America.

$13 Trillion and Counting: Our National Debt Grows and Tim Bishop Remains Silent

Randy Altschuler’s Blog: Our national debt hovers at a staggering $13 trillion and over the weekend President Obama asked Nancy Pelosi and her allies in Congress to authorize another $50 billion in new spending. If we care about our nation’s fiscal well being, the reckless and dangerous spending must end. We need a budget that reflects the tough economic times in which we live and in turn, sets us on the road to recovery by reining-in spending, cutting taxes and shrinking the deficit.

Randy Altschuler Stands with the Club for Growth, Renews Pledge to Repeal Obamacare

Randy Altschuler’s Blog: The Club for Growth REPEAL IT! Pledge is a no-nonsense affirmation of my belief that the health care plan pushed through Congress by Tim Bishop, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and President Obama is bad for taxpayers and bad for America. This legislation will raise taxes and increase the deficit, while not improving health care for the average American. Real health care will come when we have Tort Reform, a lifting of state barriers on health insurance and a host of other free enterprise solutions. Any candidate for Congress, Republican or Democrat should sign this pledge if they sincerely believe in reforming the American health care system.

Watching the U.S. Debt Clock

Randy Altshuler: This is an enlightening tutorial on the precarious fiscal condition we find ourselves in today. How do Tim Bishop and Nancy Pelosi think that federal tax hikes and billions in new spending will shrink this deficit?

Randy Altschuler’s Statement on October’s 26-Year-High Unemployment Figures

Randy Altschuler: “The current administration’s stimulus package failed because it was built on a faulty premise that the government could simply spend its way out of a recession. In fact the results of Tim Bishop’s and Nancy Pelosi’s policies have been the accumulation of massive debt that threatens our long term financial stability,” Altschuler added.

“It’s time that Bishop and Pelosi listen to Conservatives and Republicans in Congress and reduce taxes on the working men and women in New York’s First Congressional District and across America.
